A portion of Ad Outpost’s holdings includes boards erected on school property. In theory, we enter into a business relationship with an identified school, fees are negotiated for rental space on said property, and ultimately this results in a win-win transaction for both parties. Revenue generated provides a lifeline to schools, especially those in under resourced areas.
In practice, this is not always where the relationship ends. Our Cape Town office has found that in some instances, the business relationship has invariably deepened into one of partnership, which transcends merely the cost of rental for board space.
